Clinical Practice
Advanced foundations in psychological frameworks.
Scientific inquiry and evidence-based methodologies.
Hands-on clinical training and supervised internship.
Clinical assessment, counselling, psychotherapy, and structured self-reflective practice are taught together rather than in isolation.
Students engage with psychological theory, research methods, and supervised practice in an integrated manner, following the progression: Theory → Research → Practice
Structured on-campus instruction in psychological assessment, case formulation, and counselling skills.
480 hours of supervised field placements across hospitals, NGOs, schools, and community mental health programmes.
Training includes exposure to a range of approaches including psychoanalytic systems, cognitive-behavioural, humanistic, and existential perspectives.
Courses draw from neuroscience, sociology, public health, gender studies, and social policy to situate mental health within broader social and cultural contexts.
Close faculty supervision supports students’ development in clinical skills, research, and professional ethics.
